As Boden Law, we process your personal data as per the Law on Personal Data Protection (‘KVKK’). The purpose of this Privacy Statement is to explain the types of personal data we collect from you or about you from a third party, how we use, protect, process and disclose such information, and who we share with, as well as the rights you have in this respect.

We process your personal data that you provide when communicating with us (name, surname, email, phone number, address, job title and the content of the communication). The personal data may relate to you as well as to your employees and agents.

Your personal data is collected by Boden Law when you contact with us via our website or electronic communication or make an inquiry on our website. We do not use any automatic identification or data collection tools which would provide us with any personally identifiable information.

As the case may be, we will share your personal data with the following third parties to perform our Services as per Article 8 of KVKK:

  • Corporate registries, regulators, tax authorities as well as any other government and regulatory authorities;
  • Our advisers assisting us in the context of our Services such as accountants or IT consultants;
  • Postal providers who deliver documents concerning our Services;
  • Third parties who are engaged with us in terms of client matters such as banks, mediators.

As per Article 11 of KVKK, you have the following rights:

  1. To ascertain whether your personal data is processed;
  2. To request information on whether your personal data is processed;
  3. To be informed on the purpose of processing and whether your personal data was processed in line with the purpose of processing;
  4. To be informed whether your personal data is forwarded to third parties and to whom (domestic or abroad);
  5. To request rectification should your personal data is processed wrongfully or inadequately;
  6. To request deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of Article 7 of KVKK;
  7. To request notification of transactions undertaken as per subparagraphs (d) and (e) ;
  8. To object to the unfavorable results reached per the analysis of your personal data explicitly through automatic systems;
  9. To request indemnification of your losses incurred due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.
